Join Chris Wilson and Rosanna Susanto as we escape the wilds of the city and immerse ourselves in wellness amidst the tranquil bushland of the Perth Hills at Lake Leschenaultia. Just a 45-minute drive east of Perth, this 168-hectare man-made lake is a beautiful blend of white sandy shores, calm clear water, native eucalyptus forest and walking trails.
Set aside some time for a guided morning meditation by the shimmering water; then awaken your body with a hike on the scenic loop trail that winds around the lake and through the forest. You’ll see glimpses of native birds and observe the bush-silence with the practice of ‘Komorebi’, bathing in our surroundings and gaining a full sensory immersion in nature.
Afterwards, we’ll transition into a dynamic yoga flow in the open lawn, surrounded by tall trees and native flora, combining movement and mindfulness. Then, for a playful One and Only twist, we’ll paddle together in canoes across the lake’s still waters – a perfect moment to breathe, connect and release tension.
Lunch will be nourishing and rejuvenating: expect fresh, whole-food fare accompanied by cold-pressed juice to replenish and support recovery. We end with a gentle mobility session to help you stretch deeper, mobilise your hips, shoulders and spine, all in the soft light of the bush venue.
